Ogun chief, wife murdered in Lagos
Police in Lagos State have opened an investigation into the murder of Engineer Femi Egbeoluwa and his wife in the Allen Avenue neighbourhood of the state.
The couple was reportedly murdered by unidentified gunmen who entered their home at 1 Adefolu drive, Allen Avenue, between Friday night and early Saturday morning.

The unidentified assailants also attacked the couple’s residence, leaving them in a pool of blood.
A police source who spoke to the Ejes Gist News Nigeria on condition of anonymity stated, “The man is a chief from Ilaro in Ogun State.”
He then added that
The report was delivered on Saturday. The man and his wife were murdered, and their residence was also damaged.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the image maker in charge of the state police command, confirmed the incident to Ejes Gist News Nigeria.
The police spokesperson stated that the investigation is ongoing, but no suspect had been arrested at the time this report was filed.
Hundeyin stated, “Investigation continues.” Officers have arrived at the scene. The maid was discovered unconscious, but she is now responding to treatment at the hospital.
The case has been transferred to the state Criminal Investigation Department’s Homicide Section in Panti, Yaba. SCID,Panti. No suspect has yet been identified.
