We Foiled 66 Attempts To Hack FEC Virtual Meetings – FG

Isa Pantami, the minister of communications and digital economy, reported yesterday that 66 attempts by hackers from Europe to compromise the Federal Executive Council’s (FEC) virtual meetings were thwarted.

According to Pantami, all cases have been reported to the relevant authorities for documentation and follow-up actions.

7) On Thursday, the Federal High Court (FHC) in Abuja dismissed a lawsuit that sought to compel the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to accept and publish the name of Mr. Akanimo Udofia as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for governor in the Akwa Ibom election on March 11. In a ruling, Justice Emeka Nwite held that the court lacked the authority to decide the case after it had been decided by an appeals court and a court of coordinate jurisdiction.
