Muttaqa Rabe-Darma, a deputy governorship candidate for the Katsina State chapter of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has been sacked.
According to reports, Rabe-Darma was dismissed along with other senior officials and the state party’s chairman, Alhaji Sani Liti.
Nasiru Usman-Kankia, the NNPP’s director of media and publicity, provided this update to journalists during a briefing on Friday in Katsina. He claimed that they were fired for engaging in anti-party activities, such as endorsing Dikko Radda on Thursday.
