According to the report by Audu Umar, the undercover reporter expedited a four-year degree in under two years and subsequently participated in the NYSC scheme, highlighting potential vulnerabilities in the system.

NYSC spokesman, Eddy Megwa, addressed the issue, revealing that the reporter manipulated the system by altering his email address and phone number, thus evading initial detection. Megwa emphasized that the NYSC relies on information provided by universities and lacks a comprehensive database of graduates.

He underscored the scheme’s commitment to maintaining high standards, emphasizing English language proficiency as a crucial communication requirement.
