Popular rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, widely known as Oladips, has refuted claims suggesting that he faked his own death to generate buzz for his upcoming album, ‘Superhero Adugbo.

The confusion arose when his management released a statement on November 15, 2023, via his Instagram page, announcing Oladips’ alleged demise on November 14, 2023.

Contrary to the announcement, several associates, including rapper Qdot, took to social media to assert that Oladips was indeed alive and well.

In an effort to dispel the rumors, Oladips provided video evidence confirming his current state, inadvertently intensifying speculation that the entire incident was a publicity stunt.

Expressing his discontent on Instagram, Oladips accused Qdot of hastening to declare him alive on social media “at a time my family was unsure of my situation.”

He criticized Qdot for creating the impression that they had recently communicated, emphasizing that they hadn’t spoken since January 2, 2022. Oladips concluded his statement by hinting at having proof to support his side of the story and pledged to reveal the full details soon, questioning why such incidents frequently occur in the entertainment industry.
