Peter Obi Gets Threats for Rejecting Lucrative Offers

Former Anambra State governor and the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the last election, Mr Peter Obi, disclosed on Sunday that he is facing threats for turning down what he described as “mind-blowing offers.”

The politician, known for his steadfast principles, affirmed that he is prepared to endure any challenges that come his way.

Speaking as a guest on X Space, an event organized by “ParallelFacts,”  Peter Obi chose not to divulge details about the origin of these offers, maintaining a shroud of mystery around the individuals or groups involved.

Despite the ominous nature of the threats, he remained resolute in his commitment to staying true to his convictions.

“The offers that I get today are mind-blowing. Conversely, for refusing these offers, what they intend to do to me is also very frightening. But I am ready to go through anything,” Peter Obi declared, displaying a steadfast resolve in the face of potential adversity.

Addressing concerns about his safety, the seasoned politician expressed a fearless attitude toward the prospect of death, emphasizing that he has lived a full life with accomplished children who are now graduates pursuing paths.

“When they say, ‘Peter, you’re putting your life in danger,’ if I die at sixty-something, I did not die a young person. Some people died in their twenties, thirties, and forties. And I have kids who are now graduates and doing their things. If I go today, it’s fair enough; as long as I don’t deviate from these things that I said from the day I decided to into into government. I will always be on the right path,” he affirmed.
