Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has predicted that Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi will be arrested in the near future.

 

In response to recent statements from the All Progressives Congress camp, the actor made this assertion (APC).

it was previously reported that the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urged security agencies to warn Peter Obi about his inciting remarks.

 

Tinubu also urged the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) to penalize broadcast stations in the country that gave Obi, his chief opponent in the recently concluded election, inappropriate access.

 

Tinubu stated in a statement released in Abuja on Friday night by the Director of Media and Publicity for his campaign council, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, that Obi’s remarks could incite violence and discredit an election deemed free and fair.

 

Tinubu believes that Obi’s “criminally false and inciting statements about the election” were intended to persuade the court to annul the election so that Obi and Atiku can campaign for a new election together.

Bayo Onanuga, the Director of Media and Publicity for the APC campaign council, then issued a warning in response to the violence against Igbo voters in the Lagos gubernatorial and house of assembly elections.

 

Onanuga tweeted on Sunday that Lagos is not comparable to Anambra and Imo and is not a “no man’s land.”

 

He also cautioned that Igbos should refrain from interfering in Lagos politics until 2023.

 

Kanayo O. Kanayo, who posted screenshots of the aforementioned news articles on his Instagram page, asserted that Peter Obi will soon be arrested due to a conspiracy.

 

He penned:

HE Peter Gregory Obi WILL SOON BE ARRESTED. Alertness is advised. The conspiracy is in the works. You wish to wager?
