Many Women Have Experienced Abortion, According to Big Brother Naija star, Phyna
Josephine Otabor, popularly known as Phyna and the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, has expressed her belief that it’s rare to find a woman who has never undergone an abortion. In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, she discussed her personal experience and the public reaction to her revelation.
Phyna Admitted To Have Done Abortion
She openly admitted to having had an abortion in the past during her time in the Big Brother House, shared that some individuals attempted to use this disclosure to criticize her after the show, but she stood firm against the bullying.

She stated, “When I came out of the Big Brother House, everybody wanted to chase clout with Phyna. Everybody was ready to do sh*t. When I was in the House, there was a conversation, everybody was talking… Before I even come back to that. The issue of abortion, na who open up dem know, right? No woman can say she hasn’t had an abortion once or twice.”
The Big Brother Naija Winner , Phyna Raises Alarm Over Death Threats Following Dispute With Davido
Additionally, she revealed that she has been receiving death threats following a social media dispute with Afrobeats superstar Davido. This dispute arose when Davido liked a tweet that criticized the reality star, prompting her to inquire about the reason for the negativity. In response, Davido claimed he didn’t know who she was and that it was an honest mistake, which generated mixed reactions from the public. She has later expressed concerns about the death threats she has been receiving.
On her X handle, she wrote, “I keep getting death threats oh. I’m not an artiste, make una nor kill me oh.”
