Police Intensify Rescue Operations Over Abduction, Killing of Abuja Sisters

The in response to the tragic abduction of six young girls in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, the Nigeria Police Force has announced intensified efforts to rescue the victims. This follows the reported killing of one of the abducted girls, Najeebah, by gunmen.

The Force Public Relations Officer, , stated in a press release that a comprehensive plan of action has been initiated, with the Force Headquarters coordinating efforts to address the situation and prevent further occurrences. Adejobi emphasized the confidentiality of specific details to avoid compromising ongoing operations.

The Inspector General, Kayode Egbetokun, has ordered the scaling up of tactical intelligence teams in the fight against kidnapping.
