APC chairman slumps, dies in Delta
Vincent Okokoje, the chairman of Ward 9 of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, has collapsed and died.
According to reports, he died Thursday morning.

Comrade Gabriel Omorere, APC Ward 12 Chairman, confirmed the report to Ejes Gist News Nigeria.
He stated, “On Wednesday, we attended a meeting at the residence of an APC leader in Warri South, Chief Ojogri, along the Warri/Sapele road. We only learned of his death on Thursday morning.”
Omorere stated that the passing of Okokoje stunned the APC in Warri South and Delta State in general.
According to him, the late Okokoje was a gentleman who enjoyed fostering harmony among his colleagues.

According to Omorere, he was one of the three Ward Chairmen who won their wards in the recently concluded election for Constituency II of Warri South.
Omorere, who led a delegation of APC Chairmen in a condolence visit to Okokoje’s wife, children, and family in Warri South, stated that he will be sorely missed.
He emphasised that his departure had left a significant void within the APC in Warri South, stating, “I hope we have someone like him to work tirelessly and advance the party.”
