Ondo monarch, Oba Oladunjoye Fajana dies at 80
Oba Oladunjoye Fajana, the monarch of Oke-Agbe Community, the seat of Akoko North-West Local Government Area in Ondo State, has joined his ancestors.
The deceased monarch reportedly died at the age of 80.

Otunba Solomon Oladunni, a traditional chief in the community who confirmed the development, described the monarch’s reign as peaceful, progressive, and eventful for the ancient city.
The palace historian, Prince Foluso Arasanyin, confirmed the death of the monarch when contacted by our correspondent.
he said;
“Yes, Afa-Okeagbe has just lost a great king; Kabiyesi Oladunjoye has joined his ancestors,” he stated. Oba Oladunjoye Fajana, Ajana Afa of Okeagbe, our highly revered monarch, has passed on to glory. Our hearts are heavy with sorrow and pain at the news of his passing.”

Arasanyin described the deceased as a father, a motivator, and a monarch who was always encouraging the youths to rise to the occasion and take the helm in the Nigerian reconstruction process.
