President Honors for Outstanding AFCON 2023 Performance

In a commendable gesture, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu hosted the Super Eagles at the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja on Tuesday. The warm reception came in recognition of their remarkable performance in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament held in Côte d’Ivoire.

This move echoes Tinubu’s earlier statement, issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, wherein he had commended the entire team, including the coach and management, for their stellar performance at AFCON 2023.

The national honor bestowed upon the Super Eagles serves not only as a recognition of their achievements on the field but also as a testament to the positive impact they have had on the nation’s morale.
