President Bola Tinubu affirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to reshape Nigeria’s economic landscape for the prosperity of all citizens.
Speaking at a town hall meeting held at the State House in Marina, Lagos State, President Tinubu outlined his vision for a nation characterized by inclusive growth and thriving opportunities, particularly for the younger generation.
Under the banner of his Renewed Hope Administration, President Tinubu revealed that Nigeria is currently undergoing a significant process of financial re-engineering.

Emphasizing the transformative nature of these ongoing reforms, he urged citizens to exercise patience and support, assuring them of a better economic future.
“The financial re-engineering of our country is ongoing. We are determined to deliver Nigeria safely through the tunnel of hope, stability, and economic prosperity. Nigeria is in good hands. The team is working, and we will work hard to give you the best economy and the best opportunities that you can imagine,” asserted President Tinubu.
Acknowledging the complexities of state matters, the President explained the challenges that limit his frequent interactions with long-time friends and constituents in Lagos. Stressing the collective nature of governance, he highlighted the necessity to listen, decipher, tolerate, and adapt to unexpected developments.
In a poignant moment, President Tinubu mourned the recent passing of Governor Rotimi Akeredeolu of Ondo and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ghali Umar Na’Abba. Reflecting on the transient nature of power, he underscored the value of life and the positive impact of collective efforts, emphasizing the responsibility to cherish these values for future generations.
Reflecting on his tenure as the Executive Governor of Lagos State, President Tinubu recalled the challenges faced and the subsequent successes achieved. He credited the resilience of his team for steering Lagos into its current position as the most viable state in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State expressed gratitude for President Tinubu’s leadership, acknowledging him as the pathfinder of “the modern Lagos State.” The Governor praised the enduring legacy and blueprint created by President Tinubu over two decades ago, which continues to guide the state in delivering quality service to its people.

In a call for constitutional reform, Oba Kabiru Shotobi, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu Kingdom, reiterated loyalty to President Tinubu.
