ECOWAS vs Niger Republic

The call for military restraint came after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had written to the Senate on Friday, seeking the implementation of the Resolutions of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government on the political situation in Niger Republic. The ECOWAS leaders, with President Tinubu as the chairman, had declared that any country that forcefully topples a democratically elected government will face military action.
