He expressed his pleasure at Anyim’s acceptance, noting that the senator’s consent was given for the use of his pictures during the rally.

“I took it personally to approach him about the importance of joining us because it is crucial for the entire Southeast to have a figure like him in our negotiations. Today, I am fulfilled because I have seen APC posters bearing his name and image at our rally. His busy schedule prevented him from attending, but I have made numerous personal efforts and met with him in Abuja to discuss the need for his involvement with us due to his extensive experience,” Emegha stated.

Emegha continued, “Senator Anyim is an outstanding personality, and his image wouldn’t appear in our rally program without his consent. He has confirmed his commitment to joining the APC, which is why his picture is featured in our program today. I am proud to announce that Senator Anyim Pius Anyim is now a member of the APC. He is not just a member but a significant stakeholder in the APC. By the 14th of next month, it will be evident that he is a stakeholder not only in Ebonyi State but throughout the Southeast APC.”

In addition, Governor Francis Nwifuru, represented by his Deputy, Princess Patricia Obila, and the local government Chairman, Emmanuel Ajah, also addressed the rally. The governor promised to deliver more democratic dividends and to address boundary issues in the area, ensuring continued development and stability.
