Nnamdi Kanu has accused Nigerian govt bankrolling Simon Ekpa to destroy Southeast. 

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has accused the Nigerian government of financially supporting Simon Ekpa, a Biafra agitator based in Finland.

Kanu stated that the government is bankrolling Ekpa to cause unrest and crisis across the Southeast.

He further expressed concern that the ongoing sit-at-home order is being exploited by the government to “destroy our once peaceful land.”

Kanu’s lead counsel, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, disclosed these remarks after a routine legal visit to the Department of State Services (DSS). During the visit, Kanu reminded his followers and the people of the region to be cautious of unauthorized sit-at-home directives, as he believes they serve the interests of the Nigerian Government in undermining their cause.

The IPOB leader also asserted that Simon Ekpa is allegedly acting on behalf of the Nigerian Government and issued undisclosed directives on how to address Ekpa’s activities and those associated with him.
