From Perruzi’s quintessential Afrobeats rhythm to Falz’s compelling storytelling, and the melodious Highlife collaboration between Boj and Duncan Mighty, ‘Uburu’ showcases the commendable contributions of these featured artists.
In the track ‘Goal Keeper,’ Bayyani and Ghanaian Dancehall sensation Shatta Wale collaborate to deliver a captivating Swing bounce, setting the tone for the project’s aspiration of a gratifying life.

While ‘Uburu’ may not match the standards set by its predecessor, ‘Heroscore,’ and falls short of Basketmouth’s debut ‘Yabasi,’ the variance in creative vision among these projects could explain the disparity. Nevertheless, ‘Uburu’ stands as another collection of enjoyable singles and a pleasant listening experience in its own right.
