Perruzi, known for his songwriting and melody-crafting prowess, rekindles his brilliance in the Afrobeats party anthem ‘Party.’ Lojay’s R&B performance in ‘Jolie Jellof’ is a harmonious blend of catchy one-liners and captivating melodies, making it a seamless addition to the album.

Laycon’s talents shine in ‘Koko,’ with Falz contributing smooth verses in their quest to charm a lady, all set to a minimalist Doktor Sett production. Rising star Qing Madi teams up with Victony for ‘Cover Me,’ a mellow track that may be skipped in favor of ‘Link Up,’ the delightful Highlife rendition delivered by Boj and Duncan Mighty.

For hip-hop enthusiasts, the curtain drops with ‘Chasing Dreams’ by Timi Dakolo, Torrian Ball, and Reminisce, offering a fitting conclusion to the album.

Basketmouth Album “Uburu” Criticism

While ‘Uburu’ may not match the standards set by its predecessor, ‘Heroscore,’ and falls short of Basketmouth’s debut ‘Yabasi,’ the variance in creative vision among these projects could explain the disparity. Nevertheless, ‘Uburu’ stands as another collection of enjoyable singles and a pleasant listening experience in its own right.
