“You will also recall that the APC Wukari LGA invited Chief David Sabo Kente on multiple occasions to defend himself against the allegations made against him by the APC of his Ward, but he refused to accept their invitations and instead degraded them.

The APC Wukari Local Government sent a letter to the State APC on August 12, 2022, detailing the above complaints. Having investigated and validated that all constitutional procedures of fair hearing and disciplinary measures have been followed satisfactorily by both the Ward and Local Government levels of the party in Kente and Wukari Local Government, this report concludes that the party at both the Ward and Local Government level has adhered to its constitutional obligations.

In its meeting on Thursday, April 20, 2023, the State Working Committee exercised its authority under Article 13.9 iv of the party constitution to ratify the decision of the APC Wukari Local Government Area.

Chief David Sabo Kente has been expelled from the All Progressives Congress and should cease representing himself as a party member immediately.”

El-sudi also noted that fourteen of the APC’s eighteen SWC members made the decision and reaffirmed that he remains the party’s legitimate state chairman.
