The League of Youth Voters for Tinubu and Shettima, an All Progressives Congress (APC) group, has called on President Bola Tinubu to come to the rescue of Nigerians.
The group bemoaned that the country’s suffering is excessive due to the high expense of living.
Ayoola Oyejide, the group’s national coordinator, told a press conference in Abuja on Thursday that the rising cost of living is unacceptable for the average Nigerian.

“The rise in the cost of living is unprecedented and intolerable.” “The president is expected to revitalise our ailing and critically dysfunctional economy,” he remarked.
“Corruption among public functionaries is rampant in Nigeria.” Though the president is strongly opposed, we expect him to tackle the threat head on, setting an example of transparency and zero tolerance for self-importance.
The group urged the president to nominate young individuals to his government, pointing out that the country is brimming with bright young people.
“Nigeria is blessed with a lot of talented and intelligent youths who are rarely given the chance or opportunity to exercise these gifts.” “Thank God, President Tinubu has a very good track record of grooming and involving youths in governance,” Oyejide remarked.

“As a result, we expect him to continue in that vein, particularly in his subsequent appointments of ministers, heads of departments and agencies, board members of federal institutions, and so on.”
