Three siblings, a boy and two girls, have been laid to rest after they died of suffocation inside a car parked in their residential quarters in Ilorin, Kwara State.

The incident occurred at about 2pm on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Sango-Kulende quarters, Ilorin, when the children locked themselves in the stationary car, said to have been borrowed by their father from his sister.

It was gathered that the mother of the children, who had gone out to buy something, returned to find them inside the locked car.
