President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Appoints New Board and Management Team for NAHCOM.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has given his nod to the appointment of a fresh board and management team for the National Hajj Commission (NAHCOM), as announced in a statement on Wednesday by presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale.
These appointments, pending confirmation by the Nigerian Senate, are crucial to ensuring the smooth and uninterrupted operations of the 2024 Hajj, according to Ngelale.

Jalal Arabi retains his position as Chairman of the Commission, as affirmed by the statement. The president’s endorsement of these appointments aims to guarantee a hassle-free and seamless 2024 Hajj operation.
President Tinubu has charged the newly appointed officials with dedicating themselves to the task of enhancing the efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness of the National Hajj Commission to meet the needs of Nigerians.
