Senate Committee Chairman Asserts Unwavering Support for President Bola Tinubu’s Election Victory

 

In a resolute declaration of support, Kenneth Eze, the chairman of the Senate Committee on Information, affirmed that the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will remain untouched. Eze’s unwavering stance came as he addressed leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State, urging them to dismiss rumors of a potential overturning of President Tinubu’s victory.

Speaking during a courtesy visit by Ebonyi Central APC executives and party leaders, Eze emphasized the need for the APC to stand united against distractions and opposition efforts to undermine their achievements. He pointed out that despite initial concerns over the removal of fuel subsidies, the nation’s economy had experienced an unexpected boost. Eze expressed optimism that the upcoming revival of the Port-Harcourt refinery would further mitigate the effects of the subsidy removal.

Reiterating his confidence in the party’s continued success, Eze stated, “Our party, the APC, is thriving, and there is no doubt that the present administration’s election will remain intact.” He also addressed speculations of alternative leadership options, cautioning against such claims and urging party members to remain steadfast.

Despite claims that figures like Atiku or Obi could take over the government, I implore you to stand strong and fear not, for we have divine support on our side,” Eze declared. He reassured party members and Nigerians at large that the APC would weather any challenges thrown their way, rallying supporters to uphold their faith in the party’s leadership and collective strength.
