Ohanaeze Ndigbo Urges Patience as Supreme Court Reviews Tinubu’s Certificate Controversy

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the paramount Igbo socio-cultural organization, has issued a plea to Nigerians, urging them to allow the Supreme Court to adjudicate on the alleged certificate forgery involving President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This appeal comes in the wake of accusations made by former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, asserting that Tinubu forged his academic credentials.

In a statement signed by its Secretary General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the Igbo group emphasized the need for restraint in escalating tensions and political fervor, highlighting the potential harm it could inflict on the nation.

Isiguzoro underscored the gravity of the allegations surrounding Tinubu’s Chicago State University certificate and stressed the importance of a thorough investigation.

However, he cautioned against exploiting these claims to sow discord and instability within the country.

The statement emphasized the organization’s confidence in the Supreme Court’s ability to handle the matter with fairness and impartiality, ultimately arriving at a just verdict.
