AGN President Expresses Gratitude to Tinubu for Assisting Zack Orji’s Rehabilitation
The National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, has expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his support towards the recovery of veteran actor Zack Orji, who has travelled to the United Kingdom for post-surgery assessment.
Rollas conveyed this appreciation in a statement released by the Guild’s Senior Special Adviser on Media/Press Secretary, Femi Durojaiye, which was shared on his Instagram page on Saturday.
The statement reads, “On behalf of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Dr. Ejezie Emeka Rollas, the National President, extends deep appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for his fatherly intervention concerning the health of the former President of the Guild, Mr. Zack Orji, who has departed to the United Kingdom for post-surgery assessment.

Additionally, the statement acknowledges the support of the Minister for Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy, and Orji’s longtime friend, Ahmed Bala, for their relentless efforts in ensuring Zack Orji gets back on his feet hale and for standing by him throughout this period.”
Rollas also expressed gratitude to Tinubu for his efforts to uplift the creative industry.
The statement further adds, “We have witnessed the unprecedented support that President Tinubu is giving to the creative industry, demonstrating his clear determination to uplift the sector to be more relevant and beneficial to both the practitioners and the national economy. Thus, we find it necessary to express our appreciation to him.”
Ejes Gist News reported on Thursday that the AGN president disclosed that Orji underwent two successful brain surgeries and refuted rumors about the death of the Nollywood actor.
