In a solemn announcement, the Government has officially confirmed the passing of Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON.

The news of his demise, which had circulated widely for several hours, was verified in a statement released by the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mrs Bamidele Ademola-Olateju.
