The school disclosed that Bello made the payment in September 2021 and has now consented to a refund of $760,000 after deducting educational services provided to the ex-governor’s son since 2021. Vanguard newspaper also covered the development, citing excerpts from the letter:

(Seven Hundred and Sixty Thousand, Nine Hundred and Ten US Dollars and Eighty Four cents). No further additional fees are expected in respect of tuition as the students’ fees have now been settled until they graduate from ASIA.”
