The court deemed the appeals brought by the PDP and APC as lacking in merit, describing them as akin to “a comedy skit brought to a democratic setting.

Addressing the issue of political party membership, the court emphasized that it is a pre-election matter falling within the jurisdiction of the respective political parties.
