Bauchi Assembly Speaker delivers LG to Atiku as PDP wins North massively

Ejes Gist News Nigeria reports that the result of the election held on Saturday which was announced by the Electoral Officer: Nasiru Abdulkarim, indicated that Atiku defeated the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Ahmed with 1,032 votes having scored 21,619 votes.

 

According to the result, Tinubu of APC got – 20,587 votes.

 

The candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, Musa Kwankwaso got 4,023 votes while Peter Obi of the Labour Party had 56 votes.

Abdulkarim said that the local government council has 177,152 registered voters while the total voters accredited are: 48,700.

 

He further said that the total valid votes are 46,649, rejected votes 1,192 and total votes cast are 48,833.
