Police To Release Two Officers Arrested Over Death Of Lagos Lawyer, Bolanle Raheem
Fresh Facts about the death of Bolanle Raheem, the pregnant Lagos lawyer have emerged.
The Lagos State Command of the Nigerian Police Force has stated that After providing their statements to the investigating authorities, the command has decided to release the two police officers who were arrested alongside ASP Dambri Vandi in connection with the tragic death of a lawyer based in Lagos named Mrs. Bolanle Raheem.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos police department, stated that the police officers are currently going through the procedures necessary to be released after it was determined that they were not involved in the crime.
According to Hundeyin, the police officers were detained without delay and then handed over to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further in-depth investigation.

After providing their statements to the command, the two police officers who were arrested alongside the ASP and who were responsible for the death of the lawyer will be freed today (Tuesday).
“Because they witnessed what took place, the police decided to arrest them.
They are not suspected of being the individuals responsible for the woman’s death.

“They have given their stories on what happened, and the CP has ordered that they should be released while investigations continue,” the statement read.
Meanwhile, Leading presidential candidates, Peter Obi of the Labour party and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All progressive Congress have condemned the killing of the Lagos lawyer.
