Taraba State’s Accountant General, Aminu Ayuba, has been dismissed from his position.
The decision to relieve him of his duties was conveyed through a statement issued by Ms. Suzy J Nathan, the Head of Service. According to the statement, Governor Kefas Agbu has given his approval for Ayuba’s immediate redeployment from the post.

As per the directive, he is required to hand over his responsibilities to the most senior or next officer in command and report to the office of the Head of Service.

Aminu Ayuba held the position of Accountant General for the past six years. Notably, he also pursued a governorship aspiration under the PDP during the 2023 elections.
