A Nationwide strike has been declared by NLC and TUC.
The strike came following an attack on NLC president, Joe Ajaero, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) have instructed their members to initiate a nationwide strike.

Affiliated organizations under the organized labor are mandated to enforce the decisions made by the National Executive Council.

Addressing the press on Monday, November 13, TUC President Festus Osifo stated that the strike will persist until “government at all levels wake up to their responsibility.”
