Amidst the February 10 deadline for phasing out the old naira notes in the country, commercial banks and some petrol stations in warri, Delta State have stopped collecting the old naira notes.

This spurred anger which resulted to a riot in Warri area in Delta State.

Sources who spoke with our correspondent on the condition of anonymity stated that the angry Youths Burnt tires on various roads in the state to show their anger.

They made a move to enter access bank but when all trial proved abortive, they burnt down the ATM that was stationed outside.

Our source further stated that have also gained entry into Union bank of Nigeria still in Delta State but could not ascertain if it had been set Ablaze too.
