Buhari Reacts to Court Judgement Restoring Ararume As NNPCL Chairman
Following the recent ruling by a Federal High Court in Abuja, President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that he will adhere to the due judicial process.
The court had restored Senator Ifeanyi Ararume as the non-executive Chairman of Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).

In a statement released on Wednesday, Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, announced that President Buhari has not yet received an official copy of the ruling and is therefore unable to comment on the matter.
The individual urged for a sense of tranquilly to be maintained by all parties implicated in the issue.
The President has stated that the due judicial process will be followed in the case of the ruling, which the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation/Minister for Justice has yet to receive a formal copy of. The NNPCL has already taken steps to go on appeal.

In a brief statement, the Administration emphasised its commitment to upholding the Rule of Law and stated that all actions taken to address the matter will be within its bounds.
On Tuesday, the sacking of Ararume as the non-executive Chairman of NNPCL was reversed by a Federal High Court in Abuja.
