Bashir Ahmad, the Special Assistant to President Buhari for Digital Communication, has criticised Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, for claiming he will rule the country.

 

Obi, who is contesting President-elect Bola Tinubu’s victory in court, stated that he is spiritually confident that he will be elected president.

Reacting, Ahmad described the LP candidate as daddy’s favourite son with presidential ambitions.

Ahmad tweeted: “Therefore, Daddy’s favourite son insisted that he MUST be President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We wish him restful sleep.”

 

Mr. Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State and the Labour Party’s candidate for president in the most recent election, has insisted that he must be Nigeria’s president.

Obi, who is in court alongside Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the election winner, claimed he is spiritually certain that Tinubu will win.
