Ben Ayade disbursed damaged N50 naira notes to teachers ahead of Saturday’s election, Modlin Odu 

 

 

Modlin Odu has alleged that the , on Tuesday disbursed damaged 50 & 20 naira notes to teachers in the state.

 

 

Odu, who claimed that the people of have rejected Ben Ayade and his governorship candidate, said there’s a deep distrust and total lack of confidence in his candidacy and ability to perform by majority of Cross Riverians since he intends to sustain the controversial, invincible democratic gains of the present administration.

She said:

“Cross River State teachers have reacted in several trending videos to the rotten money disbursed by Ayade during his meeting with them on Tuesday, 14th March, 2023.”

 

“The meeting where he announced the extension of teacher’s retirement by 5 years and a lifted embargo on promotion even when the promotion of some teachers and civil servants have not been implemented was alleged to be a persuasion for Civil servants to endorse the APC governorship candidate whom amidst every other disadvantage, is considered as a continuation plan for the Ayades.”

-Denied promotion
