FG has postponed the training for Census 2023 enumerators and supervisors.
The federal government has postponed the training of National Population Commission (NPC) enumerators and supervisors indefinitely.
Before the postponement, the NPC enumerators and supervisors training for the 2023 national census was scheduled for April 13.
Wednesday in Abuja, Ipalibo Harry, chairman of the NPC’s census committee, made this announcement.
Mr. Harry assured that the postponement would have no effect on the population and housing census scheduled to take place from 3 to 7 May.
He explained that the NPC was prepared to conduct a credible census and that training for quality data managers and others had already been completed.
However, according to the chairman of the census committee, a new date for training the enumerators and supervisors will be communicated as soon as possible.
