The Presidential Election Petitions Court accepted evidence showing that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) server had no issues on election day, which is good news for Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi and his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart.

Remember that Atiku and Peter Obi are challenging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 general election.

The report focuses on the health of the Amazon Web server, which provided cloud services for INEC’s digital backbone during the presidential election.

A summary of the report’s contents revealed that there was no glitch that could have hampered the e-transmission of presidential election results on February 25, 2023.

The report was presented by a witness summoned by the Labour Party, Claretta Ogar, who identified herself as a cloud engineer and architect.

The court admitted six copies of the document despite objections from INEC, Tinubu, Shettima, and the APC.

The witness’s cross examination is scheduled for Tuesday, June 20th.
