In a bid to enhance sustainable development at the grassroots level and tap into the economic potential of rural communities, Elder Dr. Ndoma Odey, a prominent Accountant and Local Government Administration expert, has put forth a proposal that could reshape governance in Cross River state. Dr. Odey’s suggestion centers on the creation of 12 new Local Council Development Authorities (LCDAs), a move that he believes will have far-reaching positive impacts on the state’s development landscape.
