Strength in Unity: Living Faith Church Bishop David Oyedepo Addresses Nigeria’s Distress with Covenant Principles
The Resident Pastor of Living Faith Church Worldwide, LFC, headquartered in Canaan Land, Ogun State, Pastor David Oyedepo Jr., has stated that Nigeria is currently in a season of distress. He emphasized the need for the country to receive assistance to regain its footing.
During the church’s third service, themed ‘Covenant Day of Fruitfulness,’ Oyedepo Jr. encouraged Christians to seek refuge in covenant stewardship. He illustrated, “If you raise an empty Ghana-must-go bag in a windy environment, it would fly away. However, if you have a heavy substance in it, no matter the harsh wind, it would resist it.”

He drew parallels to individuals without covenant practice in Christ Jesus, stating that such individuals would be affected by the winds of current hardship.
Meanwhile, the Presiding Bishop of the Church, Dr. David Oyedepo, urged Christians to assist those in need around them to alleviate economic hardship.
He disclosed that the church has opened several Kingdom Care outlets to aid the less fortunate through its Winners Satellite Fellowship (WSF) across Nigeria.

He emphasized, “If your vehicle breaks down on the highway, it is not a thing of shame to ask for help. It is not a weakness to seek assistance when needed.”
