PDP Protesters Storm INEC Office With Herbalist, Charms In Rivers
At the main entrance to the Rivers State headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Port Harcourt on Tuesday morning, protesting members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a pot of charms (Juju) resumed their demonstration.
The protesters, who also carried palm fronds, were on their second day of demonstration to demand a joint inspection of election materials for 2023 at the INEC office.

On Monday, they attacked the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for governor, Tonye Cole, and prevented him from entering the office of the electoral umpire, where he was scheduled to meet with commission officials.
Samuel Nwanosike, the chairman of the Ikwerre local government area of the State, was seen reciting incantations in his native Ikwerre language on Tuesday, when the protest resumed. He was dressed in a white outfit and a traditional cap to match.
