In a startling revelation, Olutimain Ilenre, a man identified as a graduate of History and International Studies from Ajayi Crowther University, has taken to social media to explain why he set fire to his original certificates, including his Bachelor of Arts, secondary school certificate, NYSC certificate, and JAMB certificate.

In a video released on Monday, Ilenre expressed his frustration with the lack of job opportunities in the country, citing the current economic situation as rendering his hard-earned certificates useless.

“I finished school in 2010 and did my NYSC in 2010/2011; till today, I haven’t used these certificates to get a job,” lamented Ilenre, shedding light on the harsh reality faced by many educated individuals in the country.

As a piece of advice to others grappling with similar challenges, Ilenre suggested that, given the present realities in Nigeria, people should consider learning practical skills and trades.
