The traditional ruler of Neni community in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, Igwe Damian Ezeani, who recently faced suspension, has issued a heartfelt apology to the Anambra State government and Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

The suspension was prompted by Ezeani’s alleged violation of the Code of Conduct for traditional rulers in the state. The monarch had conferred chieftaincy titles on the senator representing Anambra South, Ifeanyi Ubah, without obtaining the required clearance from the state Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Community Affairs.

Expressing remorse, Igwe Damian Ezeani acknowledged his error, stating, “I wish to say that I am the suspended traditional ruler of Neni.
