Shehu Sani Applauds Planned Nationwide Strike in Solidarity with Assaulted NLC President
Former Kaduna lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has voiced his support for the impending nationwide strike organized by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union of Nigeria (TUC).
This strike is in protest of the brutal assault on Joe Ajaero, the President of the NLC, by suspected political thugs in Owerri, Imo State.
Taking to social media platform X, Shehu Sani underscored the importance of standing up against such acts of violence. He emphasized, “No responsible trade union will fold its arms and see its leaders brutalized without a massive response.”
