Abdulwasiu Salawudeen, a man, has been apprehended in connection with the demise of Aminu Abdullahi, a customs officer in Kebbi.
In a statement released on Sunday, Comptroller Ben Oramalugo of the Command lamented the sorrowful incident and confirmed that the suspect has been detained for further investigation.
Regarding the cause of death, Ben explained that Abdullahi was struck by a speeding vehicle while performing his duty along Tamac Road in the Yauri local government area of Kebbi state.

Aminu was immediately rushed to Yauri General Hospital for initial treatment and subsequently transferred to Wammako Orthopedic Hospital for specialized medical care.
“Unfortunately, despite receiving medical attention, he passed away,” stated Ben.
