Addressing internal party dynamics, Ngige acknowledged the existence of factions within the APC in Anambra but emphasized that his faction remained the authentic representation of the party in the state. He described the dynamics of new and old members, attributing the divisions to the influx of newcomers since 2021.

Ngige stated, “It is not true that the Buhari administration was a failure. I was part of the government, and the administration completed a lot of projects, including the Second Niger Bridge, a school feeding program, and numerous railways across the country.”

Ngige Confident APC Will Win Anambra Governorship Election

He said, “I am optimistic that APC will take over in Anambra come 2025, for if you are not optimistic in life, then you go and commit suicide. So, optimism is with us. It is our watchword in APC.”

Ngige also addressed the pressing issue of food distribution, promising more assistance to citizens in need. He explained the expanded distribution of food items, including garri and tomatoes, and attributed the increased aid to the challenges faced by farmers during the last farming season due to banditry and flooding.
