NAF Trainer in Kaduna, Pilots Unhurt.

 

In an unfortunate incident, a (NAF) Super Mushshak trainer aircraft crashed in Kaduna on Thursday afternoon. The Mushshak aircraft went down at approximately 2:35 pm, according to a statement from NAF spokesman Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet.

Despite the severity of the crash, the statement reassured that no casualties were recorded as both pilots managed to escape unharmed. The accident occurred around 3.5 nautical miles from the Kaduna Military Airfield, involving two pilots who were returning from a routine training flight.

“The accident, which occurred at about 3.5 nautical miles from Kaduna Military Airfield, involved two pilots, who were returning from a routine training flight. Luckily, both pilots came out of the crash unscathed,” the statement affirmed.

In response to the incident, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, swiftly ordered a preliminary investigation to determine the cause of the crash.

 

“The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has since directed for a preliminary investigation to ascertain the immediate cause of the crash,” the statement further conveyed.
