Soldier Dismissed for Indecent Conduct with Fellow Soldier’s Spouse.

According to multiple sources, Lance Corporal Abdullahi Ismail was dismissed from the Nigerian Army during the week at 231 Battalion in Biu, Borno State, for having an illicit affair with his colleague’s wife.

Sources revealed that the soldier was found guilty of indecent professional misconduct and violating Sections 79 and 93 of the Armed Forces Act CAP A20, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004, which prohibits sexual relationships with fellow soldiers’ spouses.

The offense carries a penalty of dismissal from service with dishonor and a potential jail term.
