Aisha Buhari confident of Tinubu’s ability to deliver

Mrs. Aisha Buhari has expressed confidence in the ability of Bola Tinubu, the incoming president-elect of Nigeria, to maintain the country’s unity, peace, and progress.

In a congratulatory message she personally signed on Wednesday in Abuja, the first lady expressed optimism that Tinubu would diligently work to deliver a Nigeria that fulfills the vision of our founding fathers.

 

 

1) President-elect Bola Tinubu has extended an olive branch to his opponents, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, after he was declared the winner of the contentious presidential election on Wednesday. 4) Alhassan Ado Doguwa, the majority leader of the House of Representatives, has been remanded to a correctional facility on charges of negligent homicide and arson. 6) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the incoming president of Nigeria, met President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State, yesterday. Several hours earlier, the Independent National Electoral Commission had presented Tinubu with a Certificate of Return (INEC).

8) Senator Mohammad Ndume, who represents Borno South in the Senate, stated that the Boko Haram attack in Gwoza, his hometown, on election day prevented many voters from casting ballots.
