What are the ’ headlines for today?

 

 

1) The Federal Government will begin paying the planned increase in civil servants’ salaries by the end of this month, barring any last-minute changes. (April). This followed the federal government’s plan to eliminate fuel subsidies by June.

 

2) The Independent National Electoral Commission ordered Hudu Yunusa-Ari, the Resident Electoral Commissioner for Adamawa State, to stay away from the commission’s state office on Monday. INEC’s action was predicated on Yunusa-Ari’s declaration of the All Progressives Congress candidate for governor in Saturday’s supplementary election, Aisha Dahiru, also known as Binani, as the winner.

3) On Monday, the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court granted bail to Bishop Oluwafeyiropo Daniel, who was accused of raping two (unnamed) church pastors. 6) According to reports, a crisis between herders and farmers in the Mai Tumbi community of Mangu Local Government Area, Plateau, has resulted in the deaths of a large number of residents and the destruction of their homes.
