Nigeria’s Debt Nears 77trn – DMO
At the end of President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure in May, according to Patience Oniha, director general of the Debt Management Office (DMO), the incoming administration will be left with a debt load of about N77 trillion.
Oniha made this statement in response to inquiries from reporters during the public presentation and breakdown of the key features of the 2023 appropriation act on Wednesday in Abuja.
